Stairs

The stairs will be made of cedar (for the sides and back boards) and yellow pine for the steps.  The posts will be made from one of the spare western cedar logs that the log walls are made from (planed down to size).

Dave is adding some trim from the salvaged cedar siding material.  

Dave and Gary cut the left over siding material into baseboards for the trim-out.  

Very nicely done!

     

 

 

The fireplace mantel is done.

Dave and Gary made it out of one of the spare logs.  Planed down to fit.

I'm supposed to be behind the camera taking the picture.

 

 

One last area in the kitchen to log wash before we turn the flooring guy loose on the project.
