Doors & Windows

     

     

     

     

 

This is were the wiring gets tricky.  Some of the wire must be put in

before the doors and windows go in because with log walls you can't

just run wire any ware.  For instance, the light switches are set into

routed out cavities in a log next to the doorway.  Then you have to

drill through the side of the door way opening (through the side of the

log) into the the switch cavity.  Then you have to rout out a channel down

the side of the door opening and drill through the floor at the bottom or

chisel a path at the bottom to the routed slot running along the bottom

of the wall to connect it to the baseboard receptacles.

The wood stove is set in and tested for good smoke draw.
